Driftwood shaman sticks come to life with paint, drum beat and powerful intention.  Collected from my beach each cedar and arbutus wood branch is gathered to dry in front of my wood stove. After weeks of drying living in my creative studio space, one by one they spoke calling their colours and power. It is a practice of surrender and patience influenced by dream and paintings in progress. The rose and its vibrant warm hues and meanings are all encased in each shaman stick. Stars, diamond shapes all have meaning that work for each stick. - Jill
